Spring '21 Pasture Raise Whole Chicken

These chickens are Cornish Cross chickens that have been raised 100% on non-GMO organic feed, and since three weeks of age, they have lived on pasture here at the farm. Every morning, David has tended to the flock, moving them to brand new grass and giving them fresh water. They are healthy happy chickens that will finish out at around 4-5 lbs of high quality meat for your family.

All our birds are raised on pasture and are moved to fresh grass every day. Living outside and grazing naturally keeps our birds healthy, which means we don’t have to treat them with hormones or antibiotics. Their diet is supplemented with a GMO-free, custom-mixed grain full of nutrients from Beaver Creek Feed.

HOW IT WILL WORK… PROCESSING DAY | Saturday, May 22, 2022

This is how it will work. We have processing, packaging and selling 65 birds on May 22. That morning we will setup starting at 8 a.m. here at the farm and then processing them throughout the day. All of the birds will be sold WHOLE, meaning, they will be de-feathered, and processed into sealed into shrink wrap freezer packaging, just like you would get at the store; sorry, no boneless or skinless, parting out of the chickens at this time. All of the chickens will be cooled in an ice bath as they are proceed through out the day. Chickens will be ready for pick-up HERE AT THE FARM between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. We will not be able to manage freezing any chickens for you, so please know you will need to get them that day.
